[Video] Fishing out Hyjal - No Hacks/Flying, (Levitate Required)

I won't bore you talking a lot about the mountain top fishing spot that gives access to Hyjal fish because its already been discussed in multiple threads. Obviously I claim no responsibility for finding that spot.

However, every method to gain access to there seems to require hacks or crazy exploits to fly up there. Another thread found a different spot but you don't get the Cata fish very often and it seemingly still required hacks.

I found a fairly simple way to access the good fishing area without using any hacks or means of flying dead or alive, the only thing you need is Levitate (priest 2m castable buff).

You can go fish on your Priest and do this solo or bring one with you, you will need almost the full duration of the 2m buff. Obviously this could be annoying for some but you don't need to hack to get there and I hope some will appreciate that. I made a quick video below, I apologize if it takes long to view on slow connections I wanted the quality a littler higher to make it easier to see what was going on.

Basic overview is this, start at the spot you are teleported to for reference, ride to the cliff pointed out in the video, use the priest levitate as a wall walk and face in-toward to the mountain while moving slightly to the left until you reach your destination, its really easy.

I had a few ways there too without using the flying mount in case that gets soon hotfixed. My famous and never gets old pulling lan cable out running through hyjal to the fishing location and putting cable back in. But nice find m8

Aye have always been using that to get to spots like now where u get kicked out etc. Just when u pull the cable out wait a few secs before u rush in with mount. U can even bring a m8 if u got vehicle that can carry 1/2 ppl.

I'd be pretty shocked if someone got banned for doing this, but blizzard would probably argue they can do what they want ;p

Of all the ways to get there, I'd have to say this is the least likely to get you in trouble though, nothing is certain.

Not to side track my own topic but I've never been able to get the unplugging lan cable to ever work, from the time I unplug to plug back in no matter what i do in game its not 'saved?' I'm always moved back when I was to start with if it doesn't just decide to DC me, and when i log back in still back where I started. Is my latency just too low to make use of this?

Anyway, glad you like it GrecoISU, I promise if I do any more videos i'll use some music lol, I didn't realize how boring the silence would be until I posted it

Nope still working fine, just checked, what browser you using? Do you get this a lot?

Very nice tip. I just went there with my priest and my warrior (on a diff acc), gave both levitate and fished simultaneously. 35 Volatile Water, 20 odd stacks of different cata fishes in about an hour... +rep...

I've heard some people say fishing in Uldum you'll get more of the Volatile Water, but after a few days of farming Hyjal and Uldum i've got the say it seems pretty even, I didn't see any real increase from my time fishing Uldum, doing it on a 450 fisherman with the +30 pole, unless adding a lure increases the drop rate on the water I wouldn't worry about it.

I decided to simply wait a day to try again, but still the same error. Using Firefox, whatever version is most up-to-date, and I also tried IE, again up-to-date.
