I just wanted to add my two cents into the ring here.

Niantic has become a gigantic ASSHAT!

My situation requires me to use some of the bots and applications like Nox & Bluestacks. Why, you may ask? Because I am stuck in this metal prison of a wheel chair. I can't go out like a normal person and chase these digital monsters down.

I also live in a small town with only one pokestop and that of course, is just out of range of my home. The only pokemon I can catch are Pidgeys, Rattatas and Weedles. I may have got an Eevee every other week.

Niantic is so worried that they will lose money if everyone is "botting" that they don't realize the damage they have already caused by blocking out the little guys. They need to work on improving the game and quit worrying about the bots and such.

So you have a disability that limits your physical capabilities, and now you're whining about not getting special treatment while trying to play a game that requires you to be out and about? You're saying that Niantic is bad for not letting you CHEAT in their game? Jesus christ, just because you're not able to do something doesn't mean they need to bend over and let you have your own set of rules. Find something else to do, find a game that you're physically able to play.

I never implied my situation should be 'above the rules' nor will I ever. My point was to acknowledge Niantic and it's crusade to crush any outsiders. I don't know of or I am ignorant to any other game company this dedicated in stopping other ways to play the same game.

You guys trash talking a disabled kid doesn't help. It is bad enough the game is only tailored towards people who live in very very densely populated areas, and also have no jobs, family,social life, or somehow have the ability to play 5+ hours a day. But you can go out with your friends and play they told me. No, you can walk next to them while you play by yourself. They introduced no social aspects except the 10 seconds of screen mashing to take a gym, and the 20 seconds after when someone kicks you out. If you don't live right in the heart of the city or downtown sorry, if you live in the country sorry, if you are disabled sorry, if you don't have 500 hours a day sorry. And I played legit for like 3 weeks, and then went "for what?" Spending nights walking the Las Vegas strip, hitting the parks, leveling up for what reason? To take more gyms for 10 seconds.

You guys yelling at this individual is like being mad at the people that got nintendo to put in audio assist features to the NDS for the blind, or the visual effects for the color blind etc.

OP, I agree with some of the things you've said, but then again you should look into other games where the developer actually respects you as a player and the game respects your time. Niantic and Pokemon GO do none of this. It was just a platform for Google to test some of their things and to make a quick buck in the process.

The base of the game was designed for the player to walk around. Unfortunately, it simply isn't made for you, nothing can be done here. Yes, you can try spoofing and emulators but what's the compensation? A glorified ball throwing simulator? Man, just download a console emulator and play Pokemon Fire Red or something. That's closer to what a Pokemon game should feel like than GO would ever be.
