Update is coming
and will come out the next update , I think it should or should we stop using hack or use them cautiously, niantic always active during updates.
Well good luck.
Trainers,
Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.37.0 for Android and 1.7.0 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.
- Implemented Buddy Pokémon: Trainers will now be able to choose one of their Pokémon to be their buddy. A Trainer can earn Candy for their Buddy Pokémon by walking a certain distance.
- Made it easier to select smaller Pokémon on the screen.
- Fixed an issue where Eggs would sometimes hatch without displaying the animation.
- Improved performance reliability when a device switches networks to no longer cause the application to hang or stop updating.
- Pokémon GO Plus support
- Minor text fixes.
We continue to focus on eliminating bots and scrapers from Pokémon GO. Rooted or jailbroken devices are not supported by Pokémon GO. Remember to download Pokémon GO from the official Google Play Store or iTunes App Store only.

It is supposed to be released on the 15th or something, so it would be wise to stop botting or using hacks in the meantime.

Leaving bots aside, I personally rooted my phone because honest to God, the battery is hilariously bad. I installed BetterBatteryStats, Greenify, Amplify, etc. which for some features require root. Now the question is, as a legit player, would I unroot my phone JUST for Pokemon GO? Obviously not. And I am sure that alot of other users will agree on that, if not all of them. That was a stupid move on behalf of Niantec, they already have countless ways of determining which accounts bot and which don't, API errors, movement statistics etc etc. why they felt they need to do this, is beyond any reason.

Niantic trying to make Android a closed loop system

So am I the only one not seeing this on the play store? I got the APK from APK mirror but can't see it on the store. It won't let me log in but I don't know if that's because nox is considered a rooted device, or if the APK isn't loaded right.
There are news articles talking about loading it up just fine.

Use a different emulator. NOX is detectable as discussed a million times.

Well , ban wave is coming , but as i heard from many developers working for niantic and partner companies there is no detection for unflagged and offline accounts , that means being off before the inspection time and non flagged will be okie (I HOPE)

According to users on reddit root cloak will not work...and for people trying to dl the apk and its not in their playstore..thats because they are rolling it out...its only availlable to certain countries. No doubt there will be a workaround for it..bad decision on niantic sorta but they will still make money either way.

For rooted users this may be the only way atm to run the new update
Ninja Edit: After some more reading around, it seems Niantic is actually using the SafetyNet checks to check for root. Reddit user marzika found the SafetyNetService being called in the game code. Niantic is really making users jump through the whole nine yards, as this is the same method employed by Android Pay. This means that if you do need to run Pokémon GO on a rooted device, you need to go through the whole Magisk and systemless root way. Or stop playing completely, because that is what Niantic wants you to do.

I am sure there will be more methods around this soon.
