1k pokemon limit

is that limited to bots only? So after botting 1k pokemons, i can catch more pokemons on my phone?

Ive caught over 2k in my botted account in the last 24 hours. No ban yet.

How? I'm trying to catch over 1,000 legitimately but am worried about the limit. My buddy was catch flee banned after he caught 1,000 over a span of 13 hours and no botting at all.
