Why I believe legit players are getting banned also

I think people are using the "Proxy" Of a shit ton ip's and coincidence they're ip's of legit players so they "think" They're associated with the botted account so congrats you made a legit player banned xD <3

IP bans are softbans, it goes away after a few hours.

I havent heard of any legit players getting permanent banned yet, even my local pokemon forums doesnt have a single post of a legit player perma ban.

Even for myself, I got 10 botted accounts banned already, but my legit account is not affected. Not even an IP ban for it.

I don't think it has to do with ip. There was a legit player who never hacked before. He rides an airplane to work everyday and niantic mistakenly thought he was cheating, so he got banned. Don't play Pokemon go when riding an air plane.

That may be the case, and that's why there is ban appeal.

All they need to do is take a look at your logs and if you're leveling at a snail's pace with barely any pokemons and you're flagged and banned for w/e reason they'll unban you.

But for rest of the cheaters all they need to do is take a look and go "lol nt".

Thank god someone ****ing said this... There was a country who got IP banned and just got unbanned so I think IP plays a big roll when someone ****tard uses a automated proxy and ****s someone else over.

ummm ive got a confession. i am the reason legit players are getting banned.

ive been getting legit players login info and sniping for an hour or so on their account and then leaving it. i dont change the password or anything so they just log back into their account without having any idea how they got all these pokemon. lol and have fun trying to convince customer service that they having been botting.

well actually i dont know if they have all been banned. only 2 accounts i know that are banned
