Is breaking the 1000 caught / 2000 stop rule a temp ban or perma ban?

I sure hope it is a perma ban cause otherwise shit doesn't make sense to me......

I read in a post that looked official just now it was a temp and my mind was blown.....

    the post looked like this:

    Code:
    Soft ban
    Caused by jumping location.
Unable to spin pokestops/catch pokemon/fight in gyms.
Avoid it by either not jumping locations too quickly or by waiting before jumping there.
A good estimate of how long you should wait is how long it would take to get there by flight.
Can be bypassed by spinning a pokestop 1-50 times.

    Capture ban
Caused by capturing more than 1000 pokemon in under 24 hours.
    Unable to capture pokemon.
After ever hour, if your total pokemon in the last 24 hours is below the ban threshold, you'll be unbanned, If you surpass that threshold, you'll be banned again.
Potential bypass by throwing missing pokeballs 15-30 times.

    Pokestop ban
Caused by using more than 2000 pokestops in under 24 hours.
    Unable to use pokestops.
After ever hour, if your total pokestop uses in the last 24 hours is below the ban threshold, you'll be unbanned, If you surpass that threshold, you'll be banned again.
    No public way to bypass.

    Temp IP ban
Caused by too many requests from the same IP.
This ban prevents any MapObjects from being returned. (unable to find pokestops error)
Will last anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours depending on severity.
Can be bypassed by using proxies.

    Login Error ban
Possibly caused by login into multiple accounts with the same DeviceId.
Potential bypass when you change DeviceId.
Not much is known about this type of ban.
Hopefully this is just misinformation about the 1000/2000 rule.

Well Idk if its my botting schedule that I set up,

But i've come to figure out that with my config, I can bot for around 3-3.5 hours without a pokestop ban.(Never get catch flee ban).

After I see a pokestop get to 45/45, i turn the bot off. Usually before it even hits 45, usually around like 30.

After 6 hours, I can start the bot again and it'll run for another 3-3.5 hours without pokestop ban.

So i'll leave it up to your mind what it means.

PS. Have not been banned. Reached level 28 on my last session. Going to swap configs to start sniping pokemon. Hopefully I can get a decent team and then stop botting and hopefully not get banned xD

If i get banned, back to the drawing board on trying to bypass the ban system :P

I have tired various variations of a lot of different variables. I am totally stumped on what causes a ban. Thanks for the input though.

I have got 36/91 accounts banned so far with 3 what I hope is temp IP Bans as well.

It is not an official post, Niantic would not publicly disclose this. It is however correct. Why would you hope that it triggered a permanent ban rather than a temporary ban? I'm not sure why this would need to be a vote either. It is objectively a temporary ban.

Because if breaking the 1000/2000 rules wasn't giving me perma bans I don't know what is. So I hope it is perma so I don't have to try and figure it all out again.

You sure it is a temp ban only for breaking the 1000/2000 rule? Have you seen an account become unbanned from unbreaking it? (as said in the code part of the original post)

I bot 100+ accounts in rotation and get temp banned all the time for hitting 1k/2k. It is lifted within 24 hours every time.

well then, maybe it is time to recheck some of my old accounts that I thought were gone....

rechecked a few, all perma banned from 7 to 2 days ago still.... what do you think got them banned then? Super vague question lol. Dont' bother answering, could be anything, but i did try many different variations on each account and I thought they all got banned from the 1000/2000 rules permanently.

I guess two questions I could ask you since you are so successful is what speed and what is the max one session on an account is? If that even matters.

Or maybe a better question is. What do you think you do differently than others to stay unbanned? So far I am not getting banned since I am following the 1k/2k rule, at least that is why I think I am not getting banned anymore.
