8/18/2016 New IP Bans Rolling Out Now

Been doing everything the same and today about an hour ago 4 of17 IP's got banned. Not account bans as usual. This is new to me.

Anyone else having the same thing start to happen on 8/18/2016?

Hard to tell what caused it. You could just be IP banning yourself by logging in on multiple bots at once, gaining exp/pokemon too fast, moving too fast, etc.

i only have done one bot per ip and obeyed the 1000/2000 since known.

but ya, hard to say, just wondering if any one sees this start to happen today, trying to make sense of why they chose those specific 4 ip's rather than all 17...... i keep sorting my excel table in different ways to try and see correlations but those 4 just seem randomly picked as of now...

If it's a public IP someone else could be on it as well. If you bought a private IP, maybe it's not so private.

that is a very good point, I tried to pick the most obscure VPN with many connections. But if others are following suit that could be the issue....

So I guess no one else is seeing a change on 8/18/2016 otherwise?
