Any people banned for SNIPING only?

As above. Anyone tried ONLY sniping on an account?. And by by sniping i mean just a one off-single time? and quickly? Just curious.

I've made 5 accounts (including my main).

This is the story of my main.

My main is level 25 right now.
I played legit from level 0-23.
Then botted from 23-25 as i got bored.
Never sniped (until now), just botted for a few hours before the so called "Ban Wave".it caught a few pokemon. No snorelax, no dragonite. Just what I caught from botting. Think it was at 50kmph. Anyway.
I have made a concious effort to turn my S7 aeroplane mode on and off when switching from my main to my botted accounts (2 of which have been banned - assuming "Failed to get..." error message is the message of all impending doom) in order to change my phones IP - but even then I think i've accidently just switched to one another and back again and though sh*t i'm compremised.


So, finally, I have only sniped ONCE on this account now and that was for an Arcanine. I used Nox for that. Teled to somewhere random as per pokesniperz, clicked the Arcanine, then quickly teled' back to original co-ords then caught the pokemon - as many a youTube tutorial has openly explained to me. Then I got worried about getting banned on my main (which all my goodie two shoes friends and family who know jack f*ck all about botting and cheating will burn me at the stake if they found out blah blah - it's like taboo here trust me)....

Then I shit my pants and quit the app, turned off data and turned on aeroplane mode - This was at 01:00am GMT yesterday morning.

I check my account now and this account is still live and i don't know how. I'm kind of half expecting a ban as there is a lot of chat the "daily ban waves" are random so it could happen now or it could happen in a week. "but rest assured you will get banned" (apparrently)..... but nothing so far. I'll keep you updated on this.

Anyway. Maybe I'm lucky, I only bot/cheat/spoof becasue I can... like a lot of people "it's just a bit of fun on a F2P app".

so, has anyone been banned for like... sniping one pokemon, really fast, and that's it?

I'm suprised noone in the community has made 100 accounts and tested the variables yet).

I started 10 accounts with diff IPs using @Fokeiro's configs (necro) It's a slow sniping mod with low exp/h, this is my second day and I've been only botting 1-2 hours at morning and 1-2 more hours at night, that means a 10 hours cooldown, so far none of them have been banned, however I did get a Ip ban in 1 out of 10 after 20mins~ of sniping/botting,

Also I've started 2 more accounts with Ar1ie's bot (Rocket API 100% perfect catch) running at 3kmh and 5kmh at Santa Monica Pier, even running at this speed I get pokestop ban after 1hour of botting, I guess there are much pokestops to be spinned there. However I've been perm banned before with this bot at 10kmh and botting 4-5hours, Will do some more tests

my goal is to reach to 25+ with a good team and survive the waves.

I may be able to help you guys with this. I used bots on some of my friends accounts cause they wanted to level up real fast, yet some of them didn't care much for the leveling up and just wanted to get specific pokes instead (dragonite, charizard, gengar, you name it). So in those cases where my friends wanted to get pokes like gengar or charizard, I sniped a hella lot of their pre evolved counter parts like gastly, charmander, etc.

To wrap it up ,I'll just tell you that the accounts I used bots on are already dead, and the ones where I just sniped (and I did this a lot...) still remain kicking. Which is weird to me since I keep seeing messages about how people are getting banned for sniping just once.
