Will MANUAL Sniping with PokeSniper2 get you HARD Banned?

After the bans started rolling out, i stuck to manually sniping for 100 IV pokemon. I didn't get banned for 2 days. On the third day, I sniped around 2 100 IV dratini, 1 Flareon, 3 fake snorlax, and a fake dragonite.

Around 30 mins after my last snipe, I tried again and found out I was banned.

I would stick away from sniping. You are probably more likely to get banned from sniping across the globe, than you are of pokemon farming in Europe from the states.


As of right now, I have a fresh account thats been botting using necro 0.8.5. Its currently level 20. I made it to test catchFlee and pokestop bans and how to work around them.
As of yet, no ban, catch flee has not lasted on me for longer than 5 minutes.


The only problem im hitting atm is getting soft banned from pokestops. I turned off the bot for about 3-5 hours and I was able to hit pokestops again. Currently running, we'll see how long it goes before it softbans again. Also made to test to see if regular botting is a cause for hardban or if removing snipe functions will leave it alive.

And if I get hard banned from just botting, we can safely say that sniping MIGHT not be the main cause of hard bans.

You can get banned from just botting. Stay under 15km/h, don't teleport.

It seems very vague what exactly it is that they are flagging account bans on at the moment. I have many accounts which I have done both automatic and manual sniping on. As well as many where I haven't. There have been one or two cases for which I have received "failed to retrieve server data" in both cases. So for my part I would say there is still no verdict on what exactly is causing the bans.

I agree. That is the point of this poll; to help shed some light on whether or not purely manual sniping will get you banned. This poll will not be conclusive by any means, as people will have varying experiences. But, hopefully, it will help point us in the right direction.

Several hours ago, the last 2 of 4 of my main accounts have been banned. While my throwaway accounts are still there (only did botting with these). Just when I thought I've survived the banwave, a second one came and now I got no more main. lol

I did manual sniping with those two, and when I ran out of Pokeballs I farm with NecroBot.

As long as you don't manually spam more snipes than the autosniper, you are going to be fine.

I had different accounts one auto snipe one manual, auto was banned in the first wave manual about 2 days later.

Its not worth the risk if your not banned play it don't cheat it.
Wish I had I can't get back to lvl 39 anytime soon especially with the new limits.

For everyone saying they were banned from sniping, was that ALL the account ever did? If you used a bot and sniped and got banned, that does not mean sniping got you banned. Too many people not clarifying.

The sniping is not what gets you banned.. using the rocket API is, namely PokeSniper2

I'd like to hear from users with real android pogo app with fake gps manually sniping

pokesniper always have error when trying to click on pokemons

i use smitten cords, its more better and accurate
