Level 30 on bot. Level 1 on phone? Puzzled

If you've never logged the account on, it wont have set a player name, a male or female character or their style of clothing hair or accessories. You also wont have gotten your starting pokemon or the pokestop tutorial.

Once they've been done you will be able to see the game normally. You will still have retained the level and if you haven't I'm gonna guess you're not on the correct account.

Hey Soj, yes I've caught the starter pokemon and set the gender/clothing/player name. Account appears as level 1. I've logged out and logged in a couple of times, no change. Tried with a few accounts. It's really exploding my brain.
