    Please Discuss IP ban.

As you all notice, I am new, and just got recently ip ban, there is a lot of talking in the interwebs about what happened but no has really given me a valid explanation.

There are no Niantic announcements, no explanation what initiated the ban, when it started, how long it takes, and the future of PoGo Cheating community, what does it all mean?

So pls educate me below, and thanks.

    Please Discuss IP ban.

IP bans occur when you make too many requests per second. Though there's no official numbers, it's incredibly likely that they determine this by filtering out statistical outliers - requests that fall outside Niantic's numbers for what the real game requests.

They usually kick in about 5 minutes after they have decided you are making too many requests, and disappear 30 minutes to 1 hour after you finish making requests.

It means that bots will have to adapt to become slower and more "human-like".

So specifically what can you do (and not do) to avoid these? are bots just dead right now because these ip bans? how about sniping? spoofing?

Bots aren't dead, basically - don't do too many actions such as using multiple bots at the same time
If you're ipbanned, you can unban yourself by using a VPN and you can't interact with anything when you're ipbanned.

So if there are enough running bots to skew their statistics, we can raise the ceiling of when we'd be IP ban? :gusta:

I was running 2 bots yesterday and got ip banned. Stopped them for 2 hours and start one of the bot again, it ran for 14 hours without getting banned. So as long as you're running just 1 bot, it's fine and will be well within the trash hold not to be banned.

Niantic ip bans due to ur bot making too many api requests, thus if u ran 1 bot but at too fast speed, it gets flagged as well.

Likewise if u ran 2 bots at slow speeds, they probably won't get banned.
