Did I just get banned?

I just updated my app after doing some bottling in a more populated area in my state (St. Louis) and after that I visited two different gyms here and both of them the battle would start then say "ERROR" at the top and the battle would end. Tried restarting at both gyms several times and got the same thing. Or maybe this is an exploit I don't know about? Seems when the blue team in my town are holding gyms I have issues.

If u got a perm Ban coz of fighting gyms at this point -> well deserved

I mean just think about it for a second? do u rly think u won't get a report by some ppl? Just don't use Lures and don't fight gyms otherwise u will be ****ed sooner or l8er coz of reports by legit players.

i was fighting at the gyms manually from my phone, always have

Spin the poke stop, come out the stop, go in and spin

that is just the server having issues, its happened to several of my friends when we get together and play. Best to just wait it out.

I am having the exact same issue, my necrobots coords are set to NYC, but when I log in on my phone and want to go to the gyms and pokestops where I actually live, I get the same error/constant spinning just like OP
