Can NOX still get me banned even though I've stopped using it?

So, yesterday it was raining like crazy so I downloaded NOX, didn't teleport at all, just walked around my neighbourhood like I normally would, today was allright so I went back outside, but I was reading people were getting device bans from NOX, am I safe if I stop using it now permanently?

There's no solid evidence as of yet that people are being banned singly because of the device being used. From what I believe as long as you didn't do anything suspicious such as teleporting around, GPS spoofing or altering you KM/H you should be fine. However, we cannot YET be certain that these are the only ways that Niantic can tell if you are cheating or not. Hope that this was helpful .
