Update? Minor text files again lol
they made some bigger updates lol but I was wondering if we dodged it too. I doubt it though because the biggest ban is gonna be around trade implementation.
Not that I know but it was announced as one of their bigger plans I believe along with pokestop configuring. It only makes sense they will try to nail down cheaters before they can let them possibly trade away botted pokemon to a new account.
...wondering if there will be a level limit on what you can trade btw. Like would it not allow you to trade a 2500cp pokemon to a lvl 1 trainer, would make sense
I'm sure trading will be well thought out and balanced, excluding any unintentional loopholes that people tend to find afterwords.
I doubt there will be any ban wave anytime soon. Why ban a bunch of people that may potentially be paying customers? They probably aren't even sure if they have a stable legit player base yet.
I do expect things like pokesnipe and pokevision to stop working fairly soon though. That will be one of the first anti cheat strategies they implement.
poke vision is already down with update, sure they will be back up once they figure stuff out though
About the ban wave, idk I think its coming but not sure how many people it will get. We definitely ruin the game for people but we make up 1% or less of the population that plays is the thing. If even 500,000 people bot its a drop in the ocean of pokemon go players.
They will hunt that drop for sure but like I said, idk how well
edit: quick google search shows in the U.S alone approximately and I repeat APPROXIMATELY 9.5 million people play. This is an approximation but its a good guess and its only for the US alone.
