IV - Individual Value. You can just go and google pokemon go individual value.

In short:

In Pokemon Go, there are three hidden stats, or Individual Values (IV). These hidden stats affect how strong your Pokemon is in Gym Battles, beyond the Pokemon's CP rating, which the game shows you:

Attack
Defense
Stamina

So basically IV is way more important in late game than CP is, CP basically means nothing. Hope I helped a bit.

I use Ivy script, you can find it on the pokemon forum, it renames all your pokemons and adds _number (IV) next to their name.
