When does everyone here plan to stop using their bots?
When they are banned or do you plan to stop and hope to slightly increase your chances (if any) and get away?

when I'm able to fight gyms. Aka like lvl 20-25ish. But then I might get annoyed catching XYZ over and over again so I might start up again. Who knows![]()

Thats a good goal, this is actually the exact reason I started to use a bot. I take it you started the game and found your first gym controlled by levels 20s or something? I just wanted a team to destroy gyms.
You think its actually possible to get everyone? Just seems...unlikely

I plan to stop this week as it seems they have a better handle on the servers so they can direct their attention to other things like spoofers/botters. My goal is to hit 30 on my bots as that is the level cap for wild pokemon you can catch. Any level after 30 doesn't server a purpose as of right now other than the rewards you get for leveling.
Why stop? No need, the main thing is the transfer function, much better to farm on bots, just transfer after 2-3 days the higher ivs pokemons, forget the acc, doesn't matter if gets banned.
Of course when the transfer function actually exists on the game.
I know that, but if your account is already flagged, you will be banned stopping today, tomorrow or the day after that. Since version 0.29.3 they included a log system that every time you login it creates a log informing basically everything, model of the cel, if it's a lock mocation or not, if the device is jail break or not, the ip, geographical coordinates, etc
So basically if you are boting and your account is already flagged, don't even bother, there's a lot of users using the bots for speed farming, using 400km/h to maximize exp for example, for me this is a HUGE red flag. I'm using the bots with more common sense, don't know if it's detectable or not, so I'm using a config that imitates a human behavior in radius, speed, route, etc, I even calculate the hours before changing location giving a huge interval, but generally I prefer staying only at one city.
I'm also boting in accounts that I never used a spoof location or anything, just to be sure.
If my accounts receive a ban before trading, well, shit happens, if after I'll just transfer all the higher IVs pokemons to another account that I never used a bot or anything and forget about the boting accounts and restart the circle.
When they ban my bot account.
Then I shall start bot on a new account.
6 days almost 24/7 very fast botting and I am only 35 (1500000exp to next lvl). In a legit way ill need about half a year to reach that lvl everyday playing. F*ck it, this game is not worth it at all. So i will stop at 40 or by banwave.
Don't know, I always read about "every one will be banned one day if you bot" but, BUT, I basically boted on 90%+ of the games I played until today, some games like Diablo 3 I boted more than 1.200 hours and not a single ban, I always try to improve the bot to the point it mimics an human behavior, different routes, different schedules on week days, sometimes I log and play manually, low speed when boting, this kind of stuff and I only got like 2 bans on my entire life with at least 10k hours of boting between all the games I played, in Diablo 3 I saw thousands of people going down on ban waves and I was there just chilling watching my paragon going up every day a little bit. Same thing on other games, you just need to make the bot act reasonably, be unstable like a human, don't have patterns, use a lot of diferent routes, sometimes just close the bot and come back after sometime and other times don't come back at all, be random, change your schedule, etc. This was always my formula and worked 99% of the time, don't think this game will be an exception from what I saw from the code.
