Magikarp evolve attack move

evolved 3 100% magikarps with 1200 candy and 2 of the Gyarados have Dragon breath (720 dpm) and one Bite (also 720) is there a kind of trick to get a specific move, a tool/bot that can read the info about the move after evolving or is this just pure luck?
