The warning is from them detecting botting activity. It'd be like buying a hack in a game, flying around everywhere killing everyone, and complaining that you were banned. Initial access token doesn't even request their API, and the changes were minor.

That's exactly what I didn't do.
I was just saying that the way it connect to game isn't safe. (recent change made it)
Bot was acting like a normal player.

I didn't capture Gym (anyway bot doesn't allowing it, and even I would only put a defender since attacking is the best way to be spotter by a local player)
I only botted for few hours and in my local area (no change from normal playing)

I don't say it's safe to play. But just saying that auth connection isn't safe at all > Flagged as bot (not got from other bot)
I'm not banned, I just got the 3rd party warning.

All they did was add a locale parameter on the first URL. Even if you use the old URL, you're fine. That's not what's flagging the accounts.

Let me put this in perspective. PokeFarmer users are also getting that warning. The bot is made by the RE devs, and it mimics that app as best as possible. If that gets warnings / bans, it's not about how the API is done. It's how you're botting. Think of it as a visible "your account is flagged." Always happened before, but was never visible.

Going by my users, sniping seems to be a major cause. That means it's a warning to spoofers. Large jumps while catching constantly will most likely cause it (with other things).


I said it was stupid to blame the bot for your own actions.

It's committed to add all to-do-list in near future. Also the notification also send the location where you catched the rare pokemon.

NVM. I have found it... But they tried to charge an additional buck for the 1.99... So just be on the look out for this. Love the bot and keep up the good work!
