So there is a way to detect Ditto instead of the transformed form
Hope other scanners will do that to!

i think they r hidden so u would have to typ
pokesniper2://pidgey/22.286779,114.130883 and it will change into a ditto if it is one

Can confirm, using PokeSniper, you need to know the original Pokemon Ditto is transformed as to be able to catch it. Just got one with using a link that was set to catch a Zubat.

Set the map in english language and there you will have the mask name and its coordinates (clicking on pokemon image)

My 2 cents. Ditto is useless. Saw it in a gym, Use a magikarp for team member, and swapped once Ditto transformed. Battle did not last all that long...
