Pokemon go isn't nearly as popular as it once was. Sure, there was lots of bot makers out there, but they relied on the same API hack. Sooner or later there may be a new API hack, but unless theres someone out there who still has the same motivation to hack the new API as the first group of people who hacked the first couple APIs, I'd doubt it would come out as soon as they have in the past.
