Grimer Glitch To Hold Gym

Grimer method is outdated only affects certain android users
I know some of you have noticed u may have caught a grimer and go to check it and it freezes the game.

Well i have not tested this because im testing other things without having joined a team right now.
It looks as if you stick the grimer in the gym it will cause challengers to freeze when they battle.
kind of like the eggs breaking gyms but this is a bad coding glitch on niantics part.

i do know the grimer i have and any grimers i had have always froze the game when trying to look at it.

I found something below ..

1. Creat a new PTC account and never login in with mobile device
2. Login account with bot .. Do not catch the first 3 pokemons and do not set the codename but set the teamcolor to your favorite one.
3. In the bot ,, auto visit the gyms and depoly at the gyms which with the same teamcolor .
4. It will cause all challengers to freeze when they click into the gyms...and your pokemon will nerver be defeat

how long ago did you try and it seems some phones are immune to it judging by the comments

Yes, I saw a grimer on my sightings list 3 days ago twice in 2 different locations and the game kept freezing up on me. I couldn't figure out why until I did some investigations online. The exploit is not full proof though, some people's phones are immune. At least this exploit will cut down on 75% of you the gym contenders in your area.

PG force closes when I try to view my grimmer. I added it to a gym, and it force closed too. I went back in and checked and it was still in the gym. 1 hour later it had been defeated. I guess that if the other person attacking does not suffer from this bug then it won't work on them.

hmmm so by this your saying since u never actually started the game by picking a starter pokemon..that will cause the gym to break if ur able to get any pokemon in that u may have ....and to do that it has to be done by a bot.

Ok thanks for sharing that info...that method should be great to build some coins up. So u say the pokeroadie bot collects the coins for u too?
