Sounds pretty good. From there I guess it would be up to making as human-like movements and catches/etc as possible if the API is 100%

whats about EtherealBot?
They are about to create an new api from the beginning on without any source of RocketAPI so there prerelease uses modified RocketAPI so its safer than the orginal one ^^

Pokefarmer, with its newest rewritten api fully supports heartbeat, no other current bot support this/still sends invalid data.
The huge advantage of the buddyteam, is its reputation. Those guys have been arround for many many years now providing awesome bots. + They are not easily shut down like necrobot if they get some letters from any game company lawyers.

Yeah, I remember seeing in another thread that they won in court against blizzard for some WOW bot/tool. Seems pretty awesome if you ask me. And with work being done on improved APIs it seems like the bot dev/niantic cat and mouse game will continue for longer.
