Wow wow wow. Stop right there. We aren't crying because of what happen but because we are hoping the guys that know about coding will find a way around the "I'm not a robot" captcha or the cheaters message that's all.
We are all actually very grateful for all the leveling and all the pokemon we caught and all the goodies and candies.
And thank you Niantic for the warning and not slapping us with a permanent ban.

There is no hate there. I don't blame you if you'll just sit there and stare at your monitor all the time hoping for the API to be cracked ASAP. Bots are awesome I know and hands down to the devs for sharing their knowledge to us. But the game is awesome too if you play it for what it is supposed to be played. I mean, chill man. Just enjoy the outdoors for once. Maybe a week or two, devs well update us when bots gonna be working again.

Used for a day, twice in 2 different locations (both locations I frequent and log in NORMALLY). Had let it run for a couple of hours each.

Then the warning came haha. Stopped botting (and stopped playing because of data cap) and now the warning is gone. Account still active and going strong.

If you guys think that you can get away even after the warning, you gotta be kidding me if you don't expect to be caught and banned. Even if you bot, you should regularly check in manually once in a while as the bots do not register the small changes Niantic does that breaks bots or makes it easier to catch. I'll probably wait until devs test and update a bot which can get away with botting for a while before doing a somewhat safe botting again. No botting is ever 100% safe when a game is regulated routinely by the devs.

P/S: I probably got caught because I forgot to delete the last position file even though I changed the default location in the config file when I first started using this. Logged in twice to the initial spot in the states, where my last logged position was in Asia less than 15 minutes before I used the bot haha. BloggerXYZ may want to look into this and include deleting the last logged in position in the tutorial.

PP/S: BloggerXYZ, can you look into the device information as well for the authentication file? Not sure if Niantic logs the device that you use regularly, but swapping from my phone model to an LG or a Samsung on and off may seem suspicious to get a flag up. I deleted the initial device information in the auth file, but it auto logged me with another device information (probably pulled from some random database). Seeing several users log into their accounts on the same device is another flag no?

Editted in: Anyone tried to use this as an inventory/pokemon list manager? No pathing, just plain checking the pokemon you have and transferring those not up to scratch (low iv/cp, etc), and tidying up the inventory? It's a damn bloody waste of time keying in the values for each mon you caught just to find out how 'perfect' it is. Inventory management is easier, but still takes up that precious 5 mins. Not to mention it can just tidy up the mons you want to use for lucky egg evo-levelling as it will auto check candies vs the mons you have and want to use for it. Even if I can't bot to level, I don't mind using this just for the mon management.

100% safe is never gonna happen. It's a bot and all bots are mechanised, hence can and will be tracked. We can only hope Niantic does not see it as a threat and let it lay low on their ban hammer radar...
