Pokemon Go Joystick

So i've just heard about this xmod pokemon go joystick and i cant come to this conclusion: does installing and using this joystick for pogo to my phone have a chance of getting me banned? coz i'm planning on using this joystick to hatch eggs within my location here. nothing else. i don't have the plan on teleporting or sniping anymore.

Technically speaking, yes you can still get banned. However, I have friends who have never botted and used this iOS app with the joystick enabled and they have had their accounts ever since. It's the botting that gives the faulty API to Niantic that causes the flagging that people are having issues with. My legit account, as well as all of my friends, are still playing with our accounts on the app with the joystick with no ban issues (only ever used IV calculators). Good luck.

Aren't the joystick apps all removed>? Anyway, Im pretty sure the app will also send a different "message" from the official client, and the inconsistency in location will prob caused u to be banned

Yeah, technically it should get you banned but then again all of my friends who uses a joystick mod is safe from the start till now.
