He's saying that his friend's account got reset while using NOX. They took all his pokemon, eggs, items and reset his account. It was pretty simple to read.

I had an account that was reset completely and given a random name, if you took the time to search you would realize that other people have also had their account reset (though I don't know about the name change)

Niantic even has a section addressing this problem, they state that the progress is not lost but you have to follow some steps.
