Experience from Nox + Necro.
Things that will get you banned:
1. Leveling up too fast
2. Holding gyms (increases the chance of a 14year old reporting you, especially if you are a very high level)
3. Holding gyms in one place and botting/noxing on another one
4. Botting 2 or more accounts on the same ip
5. Teleporting/sniping etc.
Got 2 accounts banned. Started 2 more. Number 4 did it for me. I was banned 2 hours later. lvl 33 and lvl 26
Started 2 more. Leveling up safely. Lvl 21 and 16. I'm using Necro, Nox and
Most dangerous are numbers 2 and 4.
I don't think that constant walking speed, using bot or nox(change device with xposed) will get you banned, if you stay in one place.
I know it's pretty obvious but i don't believe that people got banned 2 hours after using bot or nox. They did something really stupid probably and they are afraid to admit it (or just rumours started from niantic and/or bot hatters)
Keep botting people.

Cause you not that high level yet, keep open the bot and fetch high experience and you will see the ban coming..

Weirdly my most abused account, bots, teleports, sniping, ran with 3 other bots on the same IP, is still working. It is level 30+ with a pretty much full pokedex. I used any configs I could think of with it.
Actually the only account I have had banned was the one that was literally running while the first ban wave occurred and it was on some crazy 100k an hour setting.
My theory is that they have all our bot accounts flagged and they are banning a small number at a time, so they either hide their ban method or remove as few accounts as possible because these bans are a scare tactic to prevent casual botters.
The other explanation is that you have to trigger a series of bot related flags on an account to get it actually banned, so there are a probably safe, but slow configs that will bot without incurring bans.
On a related note all my bot accounts have recieved softbans of some kind, whether it be IP, pokestop or catch flee and I repeat only one so far has been banned. The one that was running at home during the first ban wave, when I was out of the house and unable to exit it when it occured a softban like the others. I suspect that was the cause of it's ban, it basically kept botting its way through all the warning signs.

Did you hold any gyms? I think this is a big issue (being reported)

As i said in number 1.. leveling up too fast.
I'm not being smart or anything. I just don't want people to be scared of being banned

No I never hit gyms.
Remember that one account that did get banned did not hit any gyms either.

So it's an ip thing for you.
I can narrow it down to 2 things. Same ip, hitting gyms. Like a said. Numbers 2 and 4. As long as you don't those or something that screams "hey guys i'm botting" you are pretty much safe
