More (possible) proof that EXP per day & PokeStops per day matter.
So, been using a bot as of right now on 2 accounts, the first day the bot did NOT get banned, I did not care about the account so I decided to test and mess around with some shit.
I had alot of pokemon I could evolve, at the first account, I had 70 pokemon I could evolve (that day I probably earned 55k xp? (unsure bois) with a lucky egg and the account was banned with hours.
At the second and last account I had 86 pokemon I could evolve, and by that day I had NOT ran ANY bot or any sniping bot, evolved the pokemon with a lucky egg and the account got banned aswell.
Just saying here, it's not something guaranteed but it's definately something that can give even more proof.
IMO, we will ALL get banned on any account that we've cheated on, we're all flagged & doomed, nobody will probably escape, I've got an account that's 28 level, the only kind of "ban" I've received is a 19 hour catch-flee ban. Impressive my account has survived for such a long time by still using PokeSniper2 to snipe like 5-10 pokemons/5 mins.

Lol plenty of people have escaped including myself. We just knew when to slip back into the crowd when Niantic turned up the heat.

Hope that's true, all my not accounts are on ice, just sat frozen. Unless they come back I'll play legit.

i "slipped back into the crowd" when they changed the API. I'd say that's when they turned up the heat.
No botting or even opening the game on my phone (got bored) after the API changed.
Over a week later... found out about the Failed to get data from server error.
Was curious and opened the game... same error as others.
Pretty sure we were flagged well over a week before the ban.
Otherwise, it was flagged based on x historic data rather than on present activity. (Too many hours played? Too many pokemon caught? Too many pokestops cumulatively to date?)
And to the OP, just because they were banned today, doesn't mean they were flagged to be banned today.
They could have both been flagged the day they were botting... and the ban took effect the next day.

Nobody can tell anything, Niantic right now are being SO clever keeping their banning proper to those still using bots & still being as bad as they were by not banning the ones botting, so they're just doing half jobs.
Noboooody can tell when they will get banned however, IMO, everyone that has cheated is flagged, however still dunno why the ones that have escaped HAVE actually escaped. Dunno, this whole thing is so frustrating to everybody!

That's definitely interesting. Are you saying that the lack of inventory management between then could be an alerting factor? Or that what triggers the ban is the extra high XP?
I get disconnected if I manage my inventory too quickly, and that's even manually but with a mouse in Nox. I have to slow down as if I'm on a phone.
Good post.

Good post.
Also thought of that, bots have insanely fast transfers & inventory management however I've been messing around with Nox transfering my Pokemon JUST as I catch them and self-clearing my inventory and haven't been banned yet, been going 10 km/h which is semi-aggro I'd say?
To answer your question: I'm talking exp-wise, going above a unknown cap maybe triggers Niantic's banning system and flags you.

ban will come.
i had accounts that were not even logged in well over a week before the API change. no gyms. low cp pokemons. banned.
i even had accounts that i botted to low teens (maybe 15?) that i completely forgot about and only remembered today. also banned.
Doesnt feel automated though because many of my bans were over a couple of days. Suspect it gets flagged and then someone reviews.

Don't think anyone can avoid the ban, Niantic is still banning older accounts.
I didn't bot for about a week and my account was banned on first day they started with the banning.

Good post.
My perma ban came right when I was renaming 50xPokemon on Nox. Coincidence? Probably not...

Niantic bans people randomly, not in an order. You'll get banned eventually. You can say goodbye to your account, take a few more gym while you can.

I'm like most of you guys here that hasn't been banned yet. I stopped botting on all my accounts 2 weeks ago. Thought I survived the ban wave but nope, got hit yesterday. They aren't done banning, just wait like a month or when they update the game. I have 2 more accounts that I won't touch until all of this is over..hopefully still safe.
