Going to make a new account play legit for the most part and only snipe.

I decided I was going to make a new account and play "legit" for the most part and only snipe rare pokemon and see what happens. The lack of stardust from botting will suck so bad but if I can still get away with sniping that would keep me playing the game for a bit. I will see what happens and report my findings at some point. If they totally kill sniping that will kill the game for me after this ban wave. I will also be sniping manually with out the auto sniping tool. I never had any problems sniping with the "teleport to the pokemon engage it teleport back then capture" method its not as fast but I never got soft banned doing it that way.

Sniping will probably get you banned faster than standard safe botting to be honest. Teleporting all over the place to catch specific pokemon; Niantic can see that

The most safe is play with emulator and not to teleport. stay to nest something like 1-2 days then jump to other location the other day

Can confirm that sniping is the main cause of all type of bans, fast botting is still marginally safe but within your own location or spoofed location without any sort of sniping.

if you teleport to a location tap a mon then teleport back right away an catch it where you were it never registers you as leaving. Never been soft banned when i do it correctly. I dont tele to every rare i pick on and focus on it for a bit then stop for a while. I will see if they ban this account.

just keep saved config your bot, and snipe times... never banned... i was try 4 day ago.. and now i never get banned.. level 39 account non stop bot with necro

This doesn't trigger an automated Softban but that doesn't mean it never registers as leaving. Pokemon get tagged with information we can't see client side. From all the ban reports it seems that the most common characteristics are 1) Teleporting instead of human-like walking and 2) sniping pokemon in the way you described. I suspect that the game does record either where the pokemon spawned or where it was caught at which makes it super easy to ban people sniping. I strongly suggest either no sniping or only sniping 1 pokemon and then staying offline for a few hours.

For my part I was banned for botting while using human like movements (poor throws, 8kpm movment, no teleporting, 8-10 seconds to catch/spin, only 10-12k exp an hour). But I also sniped pokemon and thats what I think got me.
