Master Sergeant
guys we are fxcked. The bot judgement day will come soon.
Reference: Niantic is (finally) going after Pokemon GO Bots - Pokemon GO Hub
They gonna ban us all like they did on Ingress bot players.
So... let`s enjoy the rest of our bot`s life, sell all the bots account before the ban wave comes.

I have the feeling, that it is a very well played game by Niantic. Organised by Niantic, financed by niantic and at the end for sure, won by niantic.

I'm not sure about short distance gps spook, but for the bots, I assume they are trying to calculate the highest XP/h an human being can reach, who ever over the number then get banned.

I'm really getting tired of these posts referencing old info that was rehashed already a thousand times over.
This is not the news you are looking for. Move along.

Meh,
all the botting started because Niantic released a poor game with too many flaws, tracking wasnt working, egg hatching wasnt accurate. gym battles are unfair, the servers were unstable, and some locations were crowded with a variety in pokemon while other regions were crowded with pidgey's and rattata's.
Were we wrong for botting? well perhaps, but niantic screwed everyone over.
Good thing No Man's Sky launches friday.
Hang in there guys,
we had a good

They have so many metrics to chose from. Exp/hour, constant altitude on coordinates, teleporting, sniping (i.e. catching Pokémon in coordinates far away when last action was in a completely different place), movement speed, API calls/min, device information etc. It's pretty much just for us to pick our poison, they will all be or demise

Your reaction to a broken game is to bot in it rather than not to play it? Anyways, I think it is the exact opposite. They created a good based on a very popular and for many sentimental franchise. This created a huge wave of players, many of those wanted an advantage. Just like people bot in MMOs or use wallhacks in FPS games. This is nothing different and has nothing to do with a broken product.
Live maps however is a grey area but for those you could at least make an argument that they were born and used out of the broken tracking feature. But don't kid yourself on the rest.

No it is perfectly fair and a risk you should always know you're taking.

Sergeant Major
Another "omg we're getting banned for botting" thread.
We all know its coming eventually lol. Just ride it out and stop stressing. If you played your cards right, you probably won't be getting hit with the ban first.

I wonder if they are really device banning, as some people suggested.
