Two different account with the same username?

Here's a phenomenon, unless I'm out of the loop, but I seem to be able to have two of the same account name for two different account, one on via google (the instinct lvl 23 guy), and the PTC (the no team lvl 28 guy).

Does this mean that same name can be used twice, once via google and once via PTC?

Can anyone help me figure this out.

Also funny thing is, only recently (today) I seem to be able to catch pokemon but can't access the pokestop with the Google Account, which is the account I made first.

However on the second PTC account, I seem to be able to farm pokestop and catch pokemon.

Is this because I've yet to select a team, and Niantic server doesn't recognise my account yet?

Another information that I need to disclose is that both of these account were using bots.

Lastly my question is it because both of those account are using the same account name, that my Google Account are not working, or it was just a case of softban, However I've heard it the other way around, where they can't catch pokemon but are allowed to farm pokestop, mine seems to be different.

Can any one enlighten me on what's going on.

EDIT 1: I've found people with the same problem as me, perhaps I should just wait the softban out on my Google Account. And on that note, does anyone else out there have two different account with the same username?

Google and PTC are two different systems. They work separate from each other. When you choose a name on your Google Account, it only checks, whether there is already another Google account with that name.

I see, so there's nothing that I need to worry about then. So it's possible to be two different people out there with the name AshKetchum?

Did you create the PTC account first? I'm trying to figure out how to have 2 of the same name.
