Lol at 50km being normal walking speed. Anything below 10km/h is realistic.

50km is like driving in a car at least 40-50mph
unlike 300km thinking you're the flash. 50 is still safer than 300km+ no matter how you put it so yeah

Just one of the methods (WiFi is tied to a certain location) can ban pretty much all botters, lol.

Yes, sure, it's easy to find out botters.
And it was easy before this update.
So, if they did something like this, perhaps it's because they don't want to catch botters.
Look for the first 40 lvl guy. He buy 131 luccky eggs. How many normal player would have done this ?
I think they just want to have a limited number of botters, the bigger, those who'll pay to play.

TBH once they crack this its gonna be hard for nitanic to do this and keep changing the API and stuff to get rid of bots. They are going to have to implement somethings that is going to detect. Alot of the retard botters who sat their walk speed inhumanly are gonna be the first ones to get the hammer. anything over 100 k/m is inhuman. I always set mines to 50k/m thats normal walk speed.

And thanks to the whole unknown6 fiasco, Niantic now has a massive body of data to train a supervised learning algorithm to detect future bots, too.

Alot of people use vpn, they can't ban people for using vpn.

Tbh i would just disable bots, all this botted accounts that were sold are now played by normal ppl and potential spenders.
