I read the link, very interesting findings.
I started my account in Japan and it worked this morning, for about 20 mins.
32 pokemons caught and around 40 pokestopbs robbed.
If I understand the link correct, I should be able to catch around 1000 pokemons and rob up to 2000 stops before one of the 2 types of bans hit me, unfortunately, that wasn't the case for this one, only about 20 mins of running and boom, pokemons are fleeing all over the place 
I'm going to test with my other account i NY if it's some of the auto drop/transfer/evolve settings that are triggering it, going to deactivate some of them.

Really good job, mate! Is there any way to contribute to your project? Like do you have github?
There are few features that would be good to add, for example, on farming pokemons to be able to keep only X number of strongest. As of now you can only set minimum CP/IV, but what I'm looking for is feature that will compare freshly catched one with your inventory and if new pokemon is stronger then thansfer one from inventory

They might have a way to correlate IP with location. With things as delicate as they are right are now, if you want to bot in Japan, use a JP vpn or proxy (from the very start!)

Could be, just did a test with a brand new account, startet it up in Disneyland Japan.
Was robbing pokestops fine, but not finding ANY pokemons.
So they are not fleeing, just not finding any.

That seems to pop up everytime it would have found a pokemon, can't say for sure though.

Shut it down, started V18, and it's catching them now. Have not enabled any auto functions, for test purposes. I'll report back how it goes.

Released V21, reduced amount of perfect throws drastically, got some fled messages, then started getting catches again, some fled after escaping a few times. Test it out and let me know if it helps.

now the experiences gained are varied, you rocks
It would helps a lot too if the eggs incubation system can be improved
ex: hatch 10km eggs using basic incubator and using the unlimited incubator to hatch 2km/5km eggs

Thank you for the update.
Getting a lot more random throws now with Pokemon catches ranging from 100 XP to 210XP and a couple of fled ones inbetween. I imagine, there are more pokemon fleeing now, because they have higher chance to flee from a bad throw, than from an excellent curve ball. It certainly feels much more realistic now.

I have 2 Dragonites. i upgrade only 1 dragonite but why all of my dragonite being upgraded too?
