PrioritizeIVOverCP
used amazing Maclone's Community Versions. ( boting for one time for some specific purpose )
i set PrioritizeIVOverCP = true... and oh boy, all my 500-600cp eevee were release and filled with 50-100cp
what shall i do now ? (given, i don't want to use bot now).
shall i power up the less CP guy with highest IV, or shall i wait to catch high cp from the wild ( even its low IV) ?
this IV vs CP is still confusing to me, as few says IV only affect 5% of the power in gym battles.
suggestion pelase.

Well first, how many Eevee candies do you have and how many Eevees are you planning to have end game?

dude I just evolved a 14cp evee who had 100% IV into a 2216 vaporeon. I had 400 evee candies lmao and 260k dusts.

To be honest, it all boils down to your playstyle / personal preference.
It is true that IV affects only a small percentage of a Pokemon's power however.
I quote a certain Reddit user
A perfect vaporeon has 3.7% more attack than an average vaporeon, about 4% more defense.
While the same can't be said about other Pokemons, you should decide for yourself if hunting the 'perfect' pokemon is what you want. Most people do that when they have nothing left to grind and want to attain the perfect team.
For you, a workaround for that issue is to not transfer/evolve the Eevees you caught. Keep them all and either use this tool to transfer/evolve them (http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/poke...sfer-tool.html (IV based evolve/transfer tool)) or if you're using Spegeli's, use the output excel sheet to see for yourself if there are any Eevees worth keeping, log into the game and favourite it so it won't be transferred, and the rest can be released. Personally I find it enjoyable to do the 'selection process' myself than leave it to the bots.

i have a little over 100 candies, and aiming to get a powerful vaporeon. the gym's in my area is dominated by arcanine, looking en edge over them.

wow that's nice & given me some relief. that means i still have to hunt for a 100% one.

yes, it based on Spegeli's and i have the excel file with the details.
but still the highest IV of the eevee is around 60%

Personally, I would aim for movesets > IV. Keep botting until you get a few 100% Eevees, hope you get a Vaporeon and with a good moveset, and you should be all good.

You have to note that the moveset is still the dominant factor in determining the DPS however, I'd prefer a 60% Eevee with the best movesets over a 100% Eevee with any other moveset combinations.
Also, I'm not sure if flovust conveyed it right but I doubt a 14 CP Eevee evolves into a 2216 Vaporean directly given that the max CP multiplier upon evolution for Eevee-Vaporean thus far is 12.1x (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=134545558). I'd assume he meant he leveled it up with dust as well.
Just my advice, go with whichever method you feel comfortable with.

An example on reddit:
Vaporeon: 0/0/0 0% IV
CP 2245 maximum, 206 HP at max level.
Vaporeon: 15/15/15 100% IV
CP 2863 maximum, 218 HP at max level
As you can see it also means higher IV percentage also means higher possible CP

nice
so ignoring the CP is the best option, given one has enough dust to level them up.

based on the recent changes ( https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoa..._been_updated/ )
whats are the impact on the current IV system?
is it waste of time & effort to scout for a perfect Eevee/Vaporean
