Have you change your location and your account information in PokemonGo.Haxton.Console.exe.config ? If yes
Try to recovery PokemonToKeep.cfg to the original. If you wanna add pokemon there, just do one by one

I always get softban after using the bot for 20mins or more. any idea how to prevent getting softban?

I've been running the bot for 32 hours, since it was fixed after the API change. No softbans using the original configs with minor changes. If you add bad locations, you might get softban. Also, make sure that your default location is not santa monica pier, san fransisco, tokyo or hong kong (=one of the cycle locations), because it might mess things up.

I am also using nox simultaneously on the same account for inventory management. Nox will get banned instantly, but haxton doesn't seem to mind at all.

It means that you were already there, therefore the encounter already happened. Meaning you restarted the bot and it got confused on what it has already caught. Not an error, it will sort itself out.

Default setup is good, 200-300k with no egg and works consistently for hours.
