ppl who are asking for breach icon..today i started working on it...however, i realized breach already have an in-game icon. Out of those 50 ppl who are asking for this feature can you explain why u want breach icon when it already have one existing....normally my policy is to not add icon if an in-game icon exists...so it better be really good reason...the only exception to this policy was when i added option to add icons for NPC (e.g. Nameless Seer) since he was too important to miss and in-game-icon was very small.

by default all your config are kept. unless there is a bug, so do keep backup of your fav config....core config is in root -> config folder, plugin config is in plugin -> config folder.

Any possibility of getting Linux build? Specifically for SteamOS(Steam deck) it's based off Debian 8.
Thanks!

GH uses win32 APIs, Linux don’t have them.

the breech icon, like the ritual, appears when you get close to it. Very often there are situations when you're like an idiot, running around the whole map, all the alleys, to find a damn breech somewhere in the corner of the map

i think people are talking about making so the breach and ritual icons stay on the map and dont disappear when you get too far from them. and i can agree, that would be very very useful

You have to get close to see the icon, but it's also very small.

i am hesitant to add icons due to this reason alone…especially when those icons requires adding/maintaining more code/offset.
While breach is easy, since it disappear after clicking on it, other things like Ritual doesn’t. So next thing ppl ask is, only show those icons when they aren’t opened/used…which basically mean a lot more code/offset.
So, I am going to skip ritual and breach request.

Adding more icons will not solve the visual clarity that is very bad in games like POE1,2.
EDIT: i guess I can give options for users to add icons for these stuff as long as they don’t expect icons to go away ( until they change area/map/zone). How benefit it would be? Also, this mean icon would go away if you go to town/hideout to use your stash…

Edited my last post with a middle ground solution…does this work for you/GH users?

regarding breach. often times i clear the map first before doing breach
unless you are insanely geared(class dependant) theres a good chance you get overwhelmed by having too many mobs/rares once the breach opens
so i full clear the map before falling back to do breach, i believe others also do something similar / it would be nice to have GH remember the location of the breach so we needn't memorize them, as some maps can have 5+ breach points or more, if you've specced into the atlas tree

Oh it would be very useful, but will they work like radar on mobs and so on? I mean displayed from a slightly greater distance than it is realized in the game? I think the main problem most people have is finding brach and rituals.

They will only be displayed at a greater distance if u have crossed them once in your map. I can’t do anything about “GH please find me my breaches as soon as I enter the map “. POE game server doesn’t send entities to client until they are in game network bubble. I know in poe2 there are bugs/stuff but they aren’t reliable/would be patched pretty quickly.

if you dont want to add a ritual/breach icons to the radar, can you give us an option to add custom icons like you do for entity Metadata paths? like you do POI's for terrain.

yep, that's what i am saying however, there would be limitations in that feature i.e. (1) icons will not disappear once u have completed the ritual/breaches. (2) if you go to town/hideout, icons will disappear. (3) icons will only be visible if you have crossed that thing atleast once.
are you okay with these limitation? or do they make the feature request useless.
