So firstly; I do want to point out that some of the things that I did in reaction to this trade weren't that smart but I figured it would be better to still post about it to avoid other people being scammed.

Explain what happened:
Well, I was just looking at the forums and I saw this post for some guy advertising that he was going to be selling his Scarab Lord account, Being a fan of the mount myself I figured I'd look and see he hadn't posted a price so I figured it'd be way out of my price range. A few days later, I saw a post that he was going to give the accont away because nobody wanted it so I figured I'd hit him up. The first clue that this guy gave off was that he was super defensive. He called me a scammer for the first 15 minutes of our conversation and had insisted my Skype was fake, etc. etc. After he had gotten over that He had told me he was looking for $200 dollars for the account. I thought that $200 seemed really cheap for a Scarab Lord so I asked him to jump onto the toon in game, which he did. He however did refuse to add me on Btag and made me make a level 1. Whatever though, I understood that. After seeing the priest I figured that he was for real and asked if he took Paypal. He said he didnt because he's been scammed by people recalling money and he said he would only take gift cards or things of that nature. [red]First red flag!![/red] But you know what, I've had decent luck with the people on these forums so I figured that sure that seemed like an okay way to do it. So the next morning I sent him a $200 amazon card. He had recieved it and then he left. When he gets back; about 12 hours later (with no contact) he claims someone else wants to buy the account and that I need to cough up $50 in the next 2 hours or else he's selling it to someone else. [red] Second red flag!![/red] At this point I decided to not trust what people were telling me and when to the store to buy prepaid Visas. Which he claimed werent working and so that I should just send him another gift card. So here I am an extra $100 spent on this account and honestly pretty annoyed. The guy keeps contact for a few hours and I even get an email claiming that the account has been switched to my email. However that email never actually worked. So at this point he's offline on skype. I email him and tell him that the email wasn't working and asked if he could send another. His replies went vaguely along the lines of "Nah." "Thanks though." "Bye."
Its been a couple days and honestly I just don't want someone else to fall for the stupid tricks that I did.
And now he's also claiming he sould the account to the Original owner even though he advertised himself as the OO.

hes been banned multiple times on epic np*c

File a unauthorized charge with your credit card company if thats what you used for the gift card

I've posted on his thread posting proof about him, yet you still pursue the sale
shows how blind and stupid some people can be on this site

Houstondexter tried to accuse me of scamming because I called his ass out
It's sad and pathetic, probably some fat lonely virgin
