Right off the bat stated :

I was concerned just from that where he wasn't able to use paypal due to suspicious activity on his paypal account. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went on with discussing the deal, I stopped him once we started talking about Western Union stating I would only do it if he went first, offering proof of my rep on various websites, etc.

He linked me a screenshot of a blacked out email of the key (which to me doesn't prove anything, it's very easy to find one of those on google). I told him that doesn't prove anything and asked him if he had any proof of rep on any sites. Conversation text pasted below (also in screenshots):
