Please log in to your PayPal account, NastyChain, and find the transaction and post a screenshot. Spawnish, can you do that too, so we see both PayPal transactions.

He scammed me too. He sold me a wow account, which was closed today (Probably because of credit card fraud).

How would you recommend getting the money back? I didn't send money as gift.

First thing you should do is opening a paypal dispute.

Sorry to hear all you guys loss, but thats one of the risks you run by buying from a unknown, non ID-verified user without a middle man. I wish we could help you solve those situations, but I can assure we use every tool we have available to make those guys get a refund.

In cases like this there is really not a lot we can do, besides encouraging you to contact your bank/paypal, and maybe search for his email on facebook/twitter etc so you can get in touch with him again.

You can't win a dispute as buyer when you bought virtual/intangible goods. PayPal doesn't protect such transactions. What can be done is to call bank and see if there's any options.
