Explain what happened: Seller sent proof of beta key email. I sent money as he requested to the specified paypal account. After a few moments, he said, "Okay, I will copy past key now", then went offline.

post skype screen shots(editting your name out if needed). This is very much in favor to you, trust me. But post the logs <-- and better and faster results will come. trust me.

I only have the skype logs on my phone, I can take screen shots and upload it when I get home from work tonight.

But what good will it do anyway? The guy's got my money and is on his way already.

By sending the screenshots with his profile open. I can see if you actually talked to the right guy and see the conversation. If you copy paste it your self you can edit stuff out. And paypal is pretty protective on their buyers and not sellers. So big chance you will win the dispute when you do a charge back on the money he stole from you.

I've pretty much come to terms with losing my money and not receiving anything for it.

This was my first and last time to ever do anything on OwnedCore, unfortunately. I'm sure given the right people, things like this could work out. But anyway, I just hope Gosu1337 doesn't get the chance to scam anyone else's money in future.

I am sorry to hear that m8. But we are trying our best to make the trade section as safe as possible. We are very busy in the background taking them out and perma banning them so they can't run a business on ownedcore in the future when they try it on a new account.

I advice though like i did before in a lot of HS trades to use a middleman in the future if doing trade with keys. Too bad we can't make it a rule as we would need someone to be middleman for free. And doubt anyone would do it for free as there is still a very small chance that the trade still can go wrong. And if i was not too busy hunting these scammers i would fill up that position as middleman.
