Explain what happened: Made a bid of 140$ on his post. He contacted me through Skype. I asked for screen shot of our skype chat next to beta invite and he provided. Gave me his steam name of "BeeJayRebel". I bought an item of steam marketplace from him for 140$ and he promptly defriended/decontacted me from steam and skype.

Proof: Look at "BeeJayRebel" on Steam profile. Sells these items for ridiculous amounts and then doesn't keep up his end of the deal.

And the dude even play's EvE...So next step is to dispute the trade .... did you trade on paypal or steam? If it's on steam you can only make a report they will investigate they are low changes that you get a result... if it's paypal just straight dispute the payment and it will subtract it

Any chance you can post some screenshots as it seems he done a legit trade with pr3cious as a middleman. And from his thread he was not asking for payment through steam. Just straight money payment.

It does appear he may have legit traded a key. However, he has scammed me. Here is a screen shot of our Skype convo.

With his willingness to give up pretty identifying information, I honestly believed the guy. I got his DOB, city he lives in, and what may be his first/last name assuming this information is accurate off his skype profile.

At this point, I just wish I had a beta key and wasn't out 140$. I asked to pay him in paypal, but he suggested I just pay through steam wallet. Again, after I friended him on steam, I saw he had some serious game time logged for Garry's Mod, CS:GO etc...I was not expecting him to scam me for 140$ in a steam wallet. Can you even withdraw money from a steam wallet? I am slightly baffled by it all.

Oh yeah ,.. i remember that name now... he used to scam on epvp forums as well and there were a lot of people complaining about that guy as well

This is not my skype. That thread was innactive whoever scammed you wasn't me. I sold that key out to someone else and that thread went inactive. You can go on precious' MM topic where you can find our MM request for that same trade and me and the buyer giving +rep to eachother. Feel free to ask precious if I'm a scammer or legit. THis is bullshit some idiot scammed you because you wrote on an inactive thread and he just took advantage of you for being dumb. Next time write recommendations on the stickied threads and you won't get scammed, don't blame me for being stupid.

And I also wanna add, I NEVER EVER asked for steamwallet in a sale, EVER! Just real money. Appraently you got scammed by a known scammed. My skype is JMV.JMV1, you can confirm with precious.

The only confirmed sale I could find for you was to k4r4kurt on the pr3cious thread. Was that this sale? If so, maybe next time post a "key sold", to prevent future scams.
