Scammed by DKDéáth

Just did a trade with this guy.

He refuse to use every middleman service, wont show any ID information and say i should trust him for his forum rep.
We do the trade and he refuse to pay me.
He start whining about the code as alrdy being taken, but as other 2 pp on the forum can say as i didi it today, my keys are unused and legit.
He sent me a screen showing the "code alrdy taken" error, but he simply added the code to another account, log in another one and did the screen.


I can give upon request screens of skype, pms and any other communication.

As Pr3cious and another forum member can tell you, my previous trades went good and without a problem

He didnt want to give me any tipe of personal info to check him.
I trust him based upon his forum rep.
I send him an Hearthstone cdkey unused, as i alrdy did before with other 2 memebers
He insert the code on his account, log on another bnet account and claim with the screen the code was not good.
So he didnt pay me for a key that was new and unused.

If this is forum reputation use, nice to know i dont have to care about it

EDIT: Pr3cious, the hearthstone forum middleman can confirm to u we had a good trade minutes before, about another hearthstone key being sold without a problem

Sorry to say but rep does not mean anything. You still have to use the same protocol like you do with everyone else. Did you use middleman service on dkdeath? If you did not because of the rep then it's hard to check who is telling the truth. With using a middleman like pr3cious he would have been able to verify the key working and attaching it to battlenet. So the other guy can't say that the key is not working

I proposed to use a middleman, pr3cious infact, and he wanted to avoid any kind of middleman, i have the skype log where he clearly ask it.
This should have warned me, but i trusted his past trade on the forum and did it without.

Hey,

Seller advertised key on the forums, I offered 300 dollars via PM and gave him my Skype info. The reason I didnt want to use a Middle Man is because I didnt think I'd need it. It was an extra 15% that I couldn't afford.
I put no pressure on the seller, offering to cancel the trade and he explains that he wants to continue, so we continue. He hands me the key, my friend tries it on his account (it was his birthday, made it clear to the seller that it was for him) and gets an error saying the code isn't valid, I ask the seller to double check the code and turns out he typoed it, hands me a new code, second code says its redeemed. (http://oi44.tinypic.com/9ru2c5.jpg), seller calls me a scammer then threatens to "expose" me for the "scammer" I am.

Its his word against mine as we didn't use a MM, I'll know in future to just say **** it and pay the MM.

The big error was trusting you.
You simply added the unused key to another account, made the screen and got away with it.
Funny that u did this and still can go around freely on the forum stealing again as you 'll need it.

I offered you to do the same if you ll feel more comfortable, but you still refused it.
I ask you to post at least a generic card with your name on it, with all details except name blackened but you still refused.

I only have my drivers license, credit/debit card that has my name on it and I didnt feel comfortable showing a random my license.

None can really show proof of this kind of this claim. You can't prove that the key does work, and you can't prove that it doesn't work. The only thing that could've helped is that you record the whole trade and upload it so the moderators can watch. But I guess most people don't do it.

After tracking you across servers and back to here. you left a big trail behind you. I will not post the information from other sites as it would not matter much as i deal only with ownedcore stuff. I found out that you made another account just few days ago to sell a key. Where did that key come from? To be exact so you know about what i am talking this account http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/memb...4-keysell.html That is you selling a key and made use of a mm service this time.So why not use this account to sell the key.
Or wait like you said you were not into selling keys. So can you enlighten me on what all this evidence i am digging up on you before i take any actions?

I did get another key in the email that I got from blizzard if that's what you mean, I made that account to help sell my friends keys should they get one via email too. I can forward the email to you if you like. I wouldn't really call it a "business" it was one key. I made that account to I could have a snazzy name "Keysell" !

edit: One more thing, I used a MM because I learned my lesson the first time. I wasn't taking any chances.
