Explain what happened: He bought Swift Spectral Tiger and Magic Rooster Egg about 2 weeks ago and received both instantly, today I got non-receipt dispute on Paypal. Whole Skype chat and also reason of dispute is in polish. Reason says: "I didnt receive mount in game, should be delivered but I still dont have it".

Hello!

I know that this is not directly any of my business but since it is in my own best interest to understand what has happened I would like to comment. Personally I've been doing business with Yosiak for a week and I have had no issues so far.

I think it is weird that it took two weeks before Yosiak initiated a dispute if he really did not receive the mounts. However, that is not definite proof. Screenshots can also be faked pretty easily by just creating a same name character on another realm.

Either way, I am not placing blame on anyone since you are a contributor vegoo and I have so far had no issues with you Yosiak.

One thing that could be of interest to this thread is a non edited skype log screenshot. Since this chat can possibly be incomplete because in my opinion it is not clear if that was the last thing said or not.

Another thing that I also would like to ask is which one of you that removed the other one from your Skype contacts and why. I can see that vegoo has sent a friend request to Yosiak which probably answers that question (but that could possibly have been sent right before vegoo made a screenshot).

Hope I have contributed something to this thread and hopefully this situation will be solved in the best way possible.

1. Nobody would intentionally wait 2 weeks if he REALLY wouldnt get mounts.
2. I would never risk my ownedcore account with so many trade feedbacks and rep for 200 euro.
3. Show me how to "easly" fake such screenshots as I provided (even time matches with Skype screenshots)
4. He deleted me from Skype (its obvious, check top of first screenshot)

I agree with this. It is very unlikely that someone waits for two weeks before he initiates a dispute. That's why it is good to bring these points up as I did in order to find out what has really happened.

It is also not impossible for someone to wait two weeks. What if there's a whole chunk of skype conversation left out where you say something like "Oh shit, I don't have any spectral tigers left, give me two weeks and I'll have more in stock."? I am not suggesting that this happened but it is still good to atleast rule out this possibility.

I agree, this is why I belive most people would take your side. Perhaps me included. Why would a contributor with only positive reputation suddenly scam someone for only 200€?

Extremely unlikely but not impossible. That is why it cannot be ruled out as a possibility because if people just agreed that high repped members should never be suspected of any wrongdoings that trust would inevitably be exploited.

There's been airline personel that has hijacked or otherwise caused damage to their own company's aircraft. These people were in a position of trust and horrible things has happened because people never suspected them of anything wrong because "Hey, they're high repped". Get what I mean?

Easy.

Step 1: Bring items
Step 2: Start conversation
Step 3: Create character with same name as the buyers character.
Step 4: Trade your mount to a second account that is your own with the same name as the buyers name

I am not saying that this has happened. You just asked how to fake a screenshot so there you go.

Yeah, I mentioned that this was what probably happened but I also mentioned that it could be manipulated even if highly unlikely.


Judging by the casual reason for a dispute with no long explanation I must say that this does not, in my opinion, look good for Yosiak. It would be great if he can make further comments in this thread.

Hello Yosiak!

Great that you responded. Interestingly you have now supplied logs that mentioned exactly two of the things that I pointed out in my previous post.

First one being that vegoo supplied a partial log of the skype chat which did not include the end of the conversation and you also mentioned that vegoo kept saying "next day" which is exactly what I implied as a possible reason for why you would wait two weeks before filing a dispute.

This is why it is important to ask these questions. However, this obviously does not mean that Yosiak has been scammed. Even his supplied chat is absolutely not the end of the conversation as can be seen on the slide bar.

If one of you can supply this thread with an unedited screenshot (print screen of the entire monitor resolution without being edited in paint or any other photoshop program) with the end of your conversation that would be fantastic. It would also be great if either one of you can provide a translation of the chatlogs because I do not understand Polish.

Hopefully this will be solved soon.

Here is full conversation with Yosiak, as I said 99% is in polish. Anyway as you can see, Yosiak put screenshots from 26th february and before so it wasnt even time when he sent payment according to my my first screenshots of paypal payment and dispute (payment was sent on february 27th).

Now, after I won this case on Paypal he opened new one today, this is message that he wrote:

Scammed me for $40.

Gave him around a month to pay me back since he kept coming up with these excuses but now he has not even replied to me in 15 days so I doubt he'll pay me back. (According to him it was his friend that stole the money but his friends name is the same as the person that has bought the accounts all this time according to the receipts from Blizzard so I doubt he speaks the truth.)

Too bad since I had been purchasing quite a few accounts before this happened and I was going to purchase a lot more.
