Blue because it fits the theme of the site much better than any of the other colors.

blue-silver is best... but i dont really like the overall design. cant really explain, but the flame thing does not fit. Should be a panda paw holding a coin or a coin with a panda logo. at least it could be more playful, not so clean.

Because it's my opinion and my argument for why it should not be red. It would aesthetically stupid imo.
That is also why the rep button is not red and flashy, but a subtle, not too dark color. It's not supposed to be a distracting color unless it's something SUPER important like a rule or announcement.

And that's why a lot were complaining before about the rep button. Because they could not see/find it it's all hiding/blending in the corner. It was worse before and same goes for report button, it does not even have a text now but that's something for the sitebugs

But the rep button has been changed with added text in a different color. It's not difficult to spot.
