Gold now available to buy or sell in Diablo 3 RMAH

In case you missed it, gold buying and selling is now available on the RMAH in Diablo 3, at least in the US.

At the moment in US servers, prices seem to be around $3.00 for one million gold. What are your opinions on this finally going live? Do you think prices on gold will rise, or fall? Will you now begin buying or selling your gold from the RMAH, or continue using private 3rd party sellers/companies?
And how about the economy of the gold Auction House? What are your thoughts on how being able to freely buy and sell gold might affect the GAH?

I would like to think it would rise in the very short term before falling down massively in the long run. Would love to hear peoples opinion on this...
EDIT: I have realised that there is a 2.5$ per million minimum price. So there's your bottom line. Won't crash to ridiculously low levels as I thought it would have.

I think it'll eventually rise and stabilize around $10 while occasionally fluctuating up and down a dollar IF blizzard implements better gold sinks in the game. In it's current state, because of the inflation, I don't see it getting any higher than $5 although it's currently at $3.3

it will never see $10/m again unless blizz ban all bots or stop them for good.

well its down to $2.5 where it will stay for a very long time.

Its live in EU aswell. 1M = 3.30 Euro

Edit more like 1M = 2.50 Euro
