Could not agree more. That VotV thing was complete garbage. This release of new Ethereal NPC's is more than likely having to do with blizzards LONG talked about release of cross-server mailing of BoA's.

Edit: When you lose an item, have something restored you used to get an email about how "Your lost item was recovered from the void". It only makes sense that ethereals would be the ones to fish it out for you. I am curious as to what the Transmogrifier does, though.

Ethereals would make sense for the cross-realm stuff having to do with the void ext.

I'm almost certain they are not a new race in any expansion and are just the npcs uses for the features coming in 4.3.

Wanting something doesn't make it more real or likely, facts are facts and I just don't see it (then again, this is my opinion).

Almost all of the VotV info is just crap and it has already been proved to be fake.

Because it is blizzard, and they do the same thing every year. MoP will be announced at Blizzcon this year. They wouldn't throw our some random pics as a form of announcement. There has been tons of fake info about past expansions before, it is just a common thing.

its not like its not SOP to call movies, games, etc things other than what they really are till the very last minuite.

besides, why would they file the copyright NOW when the Expac is a year out (if not farther).

If they wanted to send us on a wild goose chase of random information to build more hype or conspiracy (which is a complete waste of their time) then they would of did it awhile ago instead of wait to copyright it just a little bit before this year's Blizzcon (Which they have done for past expansions).

Oh, don't get me wrong. I love me some Panderans and Ethereal. There's an upcoming comic series on the former which is looking totally badass. Ethereals are awesome in their own right too. Ethereals are smarmy, cunning, capable of great technological marvels ... kinda sounds like another big race on Azeroth? I wonder what would happen if those two races came into direct competition?

Guess this comfirmes the void expansion, but it will not be released in a long time.
To release yet another expansion soon would be a fail.
And a strong argument to that this is not coming up for a while is:
1. Blizzard is about to release diablo 3 witch means alot of work for them.
2. We are playing on patch 4.2, that means we are not even half past the cataclysm.

VotV IS NOT the next expansion, or a future expansion, it is a fake POS written by a 12year old.

These NPCs are most likely part of 4.3, that fact that they just HAPPEN TO BE Ethereals is it would make sense due to the fact they alter the void ext. I mean would a Orc that changes your appearance look more logical? no.

The next expansion is 99% MoP and comes Q2 next year.
