The reason this doesn't work, is because 90% of Americans (and yes I AM AN AMERICAN), are either too lazy or too afraid to learn another language. Most American's believe that everyone SHOULD speak their language. Now, I find this Ironic, since most Americans WERE NOT originally even from America. (If they follow their lineage, unless they are Native Americans, would find they do not originally come from America)

However the English language has become so ingrained throughout the world, (mostly because of the business world) that when Americans (or British) travel throughout the world, there will most likely be someone who speaks English!

Now this may seem like a very derogatory point of view, but I just don't understand why so many people start flaming, or get very angry when someone, god forbid, asks them to speak or learn another language.

Ex:

I don't speak giberish. They should only have english realms and everyone should learn the only language that makes sense.

In my opinion, this kind of behavior is disappointing and unacceptable. The french, for example, is a noble and respectable language. Indeed, French literature is very rich, and the french language had been the diplomatic one in the world for centuries.

I'm a French Canadian and I can tell you I hide it, if I was to say I'm a Frenchie on trade chat for example; I would get flamed by idiots telling me all sort of things starting from ``u dunt noe how 2 play`` to ``we won da war stfu yu fag shit lawl lawl``. So, I don't think making realms support more than 1 language is a good idea knowing A LOT of people would get frustrated not understanding what others say and that's not counting people with different religion and point of view about other cultures/country. Well that's only my oppinion, I'm not saying everybody is racist btw.

True. I'm also a french canadian and if i say im a french it will start a war, because some people do not tolerate that we are "different" of them. In my old guild I had not the right to speak because of my french accent.
