looking forward to hear the outcome of this![]()
Yes, Bliz is determined to strike while the iron is hot, they need to make a precedent and get their foot into the door. The same battle and copyright infringement routine the movie, music and most of the software companies were trying to hammer out a while back against the p2pâs serverâ sites.
(the outcome of that battle didnât work either)
Welcome to the internet copyright warâs, Yes they are protecting their software and all that makes them what they are today a huge corporation with a fantastic product and delivery system. They have every right to that, but what will happen when the wow program is emulated out of their infringed code into a new kind of wow
(open source wow) imagine
Wow is already half emulated out and they want to make sure they can have a good loophole so they can go after even emulated complete versionâs of wow to.(greedy) One win in court would be enough base to build on, so they can secure the present and future well being of their company and grab every legal stance they can you can to stick it to us.
Yes their eager to shutdown the private sever pipeline and reroute it towards themselves. It is all their property right down to the letter a on page one, Anything else other than buying the program and paying to hook to wow and play is infringement. (then again we are using only part of the wow program and system) , but itâs not about property anymore, itâs about the future internet laws and developing ground for big corporations and the little companyâs waiting for door to open.
Here is an example:
3d holographic \processor
3d holographic \reflector
3dHolographic \sys
3dHolographic \emitter
3dHolographic \software
The list is endless, but as you can see how do you
get money from something that is not made yet.
(the door)..
(open source software has the potential to
become as big as wow.)and they know this.

Wow, good luck with that, Worlds.com. If they want to sue MMORPG's, let 'em. They'll just screw themselves over, and MMORPG's will just become more feared and people will know then not to mess with them![]()
Blizzards law staff is as good as Johnny Cochran, and he got OJ away with murder. Trust me blizzard isnt worried

If they ever try to go against blizzard, they're going to get crushed. Bliz gets 150 million dollars a month, bud; hard to go up against that. All the same, I hope blizzard doesn't screw up it's chat system just because of this. patents are destroying games. Didn't I read an article about that somewhere? hm.
EDIT: omfg, i just watched a video that said worlds has spent 20 million on its "game" since 1994, and that's 15 years... Bliz gets 150 mil a month...

...Why don't we just sue them for being stupid, and trying to stop our entertainment?! I would wins![]()
haha they can try but the worlds.com well lose lawl its blizzard....
I don't know a lot about the US law system but if worlds.com sued Blizzard could Blizzard then not find a fault with worlds.com and counter sue them TO THE GROUND?
This is APSURD.
I would give these bas*ards a peace of my mind!
I imagine the suicide numbers rising if the win against bliizzard or NCSofT (whicj they won`t!)
