Contest 18th - 22nd of April

It has been a long time since there has been a contest here at MMOwned. If you are not counting the bogus April fools one we had :P – I hope no one are offended by that



Anyways this will follow the same idea and will involve being a friend of MMOwned on Facebook. We will be using Facebook for some of our contests so you might as well become a fan of MMOwned sooner rather than later.


Become a fan and write a reply on the topic “What section do you enjoy the most”. Your reply must state what section you enjoy the most and why AND INCLUDE YOUR MMOWNED NICK. That is all you have to do to enter the contest for a price worth $35USD of gold or more.


Example:
I like Bots and Programs section the most because that is where I can find and release info about new programs.

FOR MMOWNED DONATORS EXCLUSIVELY: MMOwned Donators will receive 3 entries since you have donated to MMOwned. So your chances of winning are 3 times bigger than the average member. There will be more and more benefits as to being a member with donation status on MMOwned, this is one of them.

cool idea, however the idea of having someone's First and Last name + their nickname here on a Facebook page that involves (mainly) WoW hacking doesn't seem like the best idea to me.

that is sort of their issue, not ours We have our IRL names there as well. What are you afraid of though? some RL players coming to bash you LOL?

I never understood the fear of "being publicly connected" with WoW community... Firstly wave of whines about RealID at Blizzard Forums and now this.. Come on.
If you are ashamed of being part of the community, there is a simple solution.

I'm not ashamed or afraid, I just prefer not to have my name all over a lot of different public places. Nothing wrong with that. Just a personal preference is all, and like I said good luck to those who decide to enter!

Can I just add that I don't really see your fear of repercussions irl about this. You would be posting your real life name, and a forum nickname. If that gets you into any trouble, it's cause you used your WoW-nickname here, and then, yes, it could be a little less safe, but that's not the author's fault.
When you post on their Facebookwall and people see it the only info they can derive from it is that you are a wow-player, a good profile shows no e-mailadres, NO ingame screenshots with names (yes, have seen loads) and a good security against outsiders. You have nothing to fear in a contest like this if you didn't **** up yourself.

I've been threatened with being mentored and been excluded + threatened to be kicked out of college all over admitting that I talk to people that I don't know in real life.

I'm being 'naive' and there all trying to groom me.

I'm reluctant for these reasons. The UK (my college only?) are obsessed with everyone trying to groom you/being pedo's if you don't know them in real life. If it got out that I entered a competition such as this, next thing I'd know I'd have child services at my door.

Same here but not quite as severe as your college by the sound of it, we have loads of tutor lectures about being safe online, most of it is just common sense involving facebook, pictures, girls, bitching etc.
