On a side note the most funny April fools for me was when the Staff at TG posted a thread that appeared to be made by Peyton and how she beat blizzard and is hosting a server again...probably won't make such sense to those who don't follow the wow private server scene hehe

Ah, well that's too bad. Maybe next year there could be an "April Fool's!" thread where people could post their favorite April Fool's joke. Heck, maybe you could even make that into a contest!

As for the news post -- Honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal to me, but I can see how others took it seriously. Maybe they didn't know which text to highlight, or whatever the case may be and they didn't bother trying..or they just read part of the article, nerdraged, and left. Either way, I think it would've been a more positive experience had it said APRIL FOOL'S! at the end without making users highlight text. I mean, at least put it in a SPOILER and tell them to open it.

Finally, as for the Piña Coladas down in Hawaii before a surf -- that was just straight up hilarious.

If they just nerdraged and didn't read the whole thing, KNOWING that it's April Fools and even if they're not that time zone, they should know that MMOwned is a different one and it's probably April Fools here... anyway, if they really just nerdraged, besides knowing that, then... they deserve what happens next, IMO.

Same thing happens when you see a big red button with instructions below it and just click it out of curiosity... no matter the fact that the effect might be dangerous and that's what the instructions are for. That's just being stupid.

-.- Obviously you need to go and re-read the first post. The problem wasn't that people were unusually alert on April Fool's, the problem was it went beyond April Fool's day.
