Lazy Leechers Should Be Able to Use The Search Button

Well, first the search is now available for the 'leechers'. (In fact, it has been since like the 3rd day of implementing the leecher status.)

Of course this is a bad-or-bad scenario. If they can use it, it will cut down on spam and/or rep posts, but people can use it to 'steal' from this site. (BTW you can always use google on this site specifically).

Or it could be disabled, which of course means constant re-threads and bitching about not having the search.

How about you trust in the admins of the forum, they implemented this for a reason, and if they feel that a certain group is acceped/denied a particular access, then obviously it's for the best interest (not only for the group, but bandwidth can get costly )

Thats a good point that Errage made, but I am not a leecher and i've been making guides to try and earn 5 reputation but people just say it's a repost. HOW WOULD I KNOW??? I can't use search to find out!

Some of these ideas make sense, while others are completely off the wall.

I still think it's funny that a lot of people look down on the 'leechers' as some type of disease. I was in it for awhile, and even before that I helped to the best of my ability, but wasn't recognized for my help.

And yet, even after seeing posts like the one above, I still continued to help in ways that I could, the funny part is seeing posts like the one above only smack people down, even ones that are trying to help, only to not recieve any recognition for it.

It's sad really.

Just so you all know, I didn't read all of the posts, so I dont know if someone already said this. But, as you are making a post, after the name is typed in and you click on the area below it, it automatically gives the names of the closest threads to it, so in retrospect, the search button is not needed at all.

EDIT: Just read the posts. Dont gimme the "Oh its repost becuz I cant search" Thats a lame excuse, and is not going to work. Hmph.

and if i see a good post i rep for it just because every other crack-head(no not being offensive to anyone) doesnt wanna give rep to your post well chances are at least 1 will

I did use the auto search title and there was nothing but this gastricpenguin guy said it was a repost which it didn't say there was and I didn't see a guide like the one I made anywhere.
